Learn and
Improve Your
English, Math,
and More.

Idea

English- and math-based learning–for both native English speakers and English language learners–are my bailiwicks, but you can get help in biology, history, and some other subjects. If tutoring and test prep aren’t for you, maybe a semi-comprehensive consultation, document proof, document edit, audio transcription, or accountability session can help.

Comprehensive Growth

Growth for Many

English, Math & More’s offerings aren’t just for the academically gifted or only for those struggling to catch on or keep up.

This space is for: college students or grads looking to gain or keep their teaching jobs; teens whose parents are afraid their mini-thems aren’t getting what they need at school; teachers facing EDTPA deadlines but are too overwhelmed by teaching responsibilities to accurately pinpoint opportunities to earn more points on their submissions; teens nervous about their prospects for getting into their preferred universities, even if they earn perfect SAT or ACT scores; speakers of languages other than English who desperately want to improve their English communication skills; and those who are sick of falling behind, know what they need to do, but need live accountability sessions or body doubling to achieve their goals.

If I offer the relief you need and we’re a good fit, be ready to meet me halfway, be ready to make your learning program a priority, and be ready to work with intention.

I’m sorry, but I can only determine that after meeting for a diagnostic session.

When you visit a competent doctor, he or she runs tests, asks questions, and observes you before trying to help you make improvements. Well, the same is true for the work I do. I can’t help you until after I’ve figured out what’s going on with you.

What I can tell you is that, on average, customers use 20 hours.

Currently, you have a choice of two (2) places to meet in Downtown Oakland, one (1) place to meet in East Oakland, and one (1) place to meet in Alameda.

Home visits occur on a ridiculously strict case-by-case basis. They cost a bit more, too, to accommodate for travel time, gas, and vehicle wear.

No. It is a coincidence that I only have photos and recordings of past customers who are speakers of Spanish and Chinese. I’ve worked with speakers of French, Brazilian Portuguese, Wolof, Pulaar, and Kiswahili.
